My principles of teaching speaking online

I would like to start with reflective teaching as principal of teaching speaking online in which you need to have a process of collecting, recording, and analyzing each teaching speaking class to see what works for who, how well the lesson is understood at the end, where students felt lost and the subject became unclear, at what points lesson became more attractive for learners, and you achieved the desired outcome. There is also a self-check part of this process while listening or watching the recording to see the things you are doing in class you are not aware of or the things that could be said differently to bring more attention to the important point you made.

Being a good leader in speaking classes can create best-in-class speaking activities online with the help of the right tools and interesting topics. This example can be seen in parliaments in politics where you will have a house leader who manages who will speak and manages time constraints so that every speaker would have an equal amount of time and treatment. It is important that none of the learners doesn’t feel left alone or felt not getting enough attention. Learners of all ages are then able to engage in speaking and benefit from it.

Creating a permanent confidence level on speaking in almost every topic ranging from economy to sport, environment to science will be part of my principles. From my experience, I have seen many times that even small achievements while speaking on topics that are not familiar to learners will also lead to an increase in their confidence level because confidence can only be created during the times where learners challenge themselves and do things differently. It is seriously important that teachers allow learners to express their ideas freely and support them with their ideas and nurture them throughout many classes.
